We love to speak at churches and organizations about the ministry the Lord has called us to do, our mission and vision, how the ministry work has been going, how the local church or organization can create a military outreach ministry and/or help minister to the military, veterans, and Gold Star families. The presentation length is based upon the time frame provided to us.
How to start a Faith - Based PTSD Support Group
This is a free ninety - minute workshop. We will go step by step on how to start up a Faith - Based PTSD support group for families, friends, spouses, and significant others of veterans. A sample format, curriculum, resources, etc. are part of what is covered. Also covered is how to select facilitators, a facility, and promoting the group.
Faith - Based PTSD Support Group Facilitator Training
This workshop last about four hours and is designed to help facilitators on getting setup for running the support group. Much of this training is role playing where each person gets to serve as a facilitator and participant. We cover topics such as what to do if someone in the group is suicidal, how to maintain group balance, how to deal with various personalities, some legal issues to consider, and more.
“How to Engage The Military In Your Midst”
This is a free, three hour seminar that has been designed by Cru Military to help enlist, educate, equip, encourage, and engage churches and individuals who desire to serve the military around them, sharing the hope of Jesus Christ. The series is composed of eight video segments.
Throughout the seminar are “Take Five” breaks with questions to discuss in your group. The videos are hosted by Maj Jeff Struecker, Chaplain US Army (Ret), Pastor, Author and Warrior portrayed in the movie “Black Hawk Down” and by LTC Jeff Presnal, US Army Reserve (Ret), President of Armor of God Military Ministry. The stories and perspectives of a number of active duty, veterans, wives of veterans, wounded warriors and parents provide real context to the issues facing our military today.
This seminar will encourage you to START where you are, USE what you have, and DO what you can to serve the military in your midst. This is an interactive seminar that is DVD based with several “Take Five” breaks that allow for our interactive discussions.
REBOOT Combat Recovery Overview Seminar
This is a one-hour presentation that talks about the REBOOT Combat Recovery course in more detail. It talks about the primary team roles, team training, organization, outreach and marketing materials, course format, cost of the course, who is eligible to attend, and then a question and answer period.

REBOOT Combat Recovery
REBOOT Combat Recovery is a 12-week, faith-based combat trauma healing course designed to address the spiritual and moral wounds of war, helping service members, veterans, and their families rebuild character, community, and leadership. Combat Trauma (CT) Care Group
A 12-week step-by-step small group study to help combat trauma sufferers regain their spiritual foundation and re-connect with the church. This course offers Christ-centered solutions for combat trauma sufferers by helping to construct an environment that will give God optimal access to the wounded soul. The small group may last longer if more time is needed to work through the various chapters properly. The group will meet for two hours each week. The group will be using The Combat Trauma Healing Manual which is part of the Bridges to Healing Series. The manual combines the latest insights of the medical and counseling communities with the timeless principles of God’s Word.

When War Comes Home; Christ-Centered Healing for Wives of Combat Veterans
A 13-week small group that offers comfort and practical help to the wives of combat veterans struggling with the hidden wounds of war, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Insights from the medical and counseling community are wrapped in biblical principles and the shared experiences of other military wives. The small group may last longer if more time is needed to work through the various chapters properly. The group will meet for two hours each week. The group will be using “When War Comes Home” group study book.
